6-pole Master switch with removable key (red part) according to FIA appendix J Art. 253 requirements.
Disconnects battery and alternator.

This product is much more resistant than other less expensive alternatives so no surprise during the race when suddenly race car stalled because of burnout resistor or inner contact pads.

  • Continuous duty: 100 Amps
  • Peak/Intermittent duty: 500 Amps
  • Voltage Compatibility: 6V, 12V, and 24V DC systems
  • Circuit Type: 3 sets of contacts. Primary contacts disconnect the battery, while secondary contacts disable the ignition coil and ground the alternator (usually via an integrated resistor)

Remote Cable Compatible: The key features a built-in hole, allowing it to be connected to an exterior pull-cable (see product HERE) for emergency activation by track marshals or safety crews.

Alternator Protection: Includes a built-in resistor to safely short the alternator to ground when activated, which prevents voltage spikes and alternator damage.
