The sports brake discs for road use, produced by OMP, are characterised by 4 tangential att. holes and 16 holes.
These latter are designed to lighten the discs themselves, to decrease the “gas” pressure (“fading” properties), to improve the disc loss of heat and, in case of driving on a wet roadbed, they help the water leakage, thus increasing the discs’ braking power.
Tangential att. holes are designed to keep the friction coefficient steady, thus preventing brake pads from vitrifying and increasing the disc’s reliability, performances and lifespan.
