TYPE: Single Car to Single Pit Headset

VERBACOM offers drivers a cost effective and very efficient car to pit communication system by using GSM mobile phones.

Coverage: unlike handheld radio systems which often works in limited distance and often can not provide full signal coverage for whole race track, the Verbacom system allows communication on any length of circuit as it uses mobile phone GSM signals.

Clarity: Verbacom system uses digital audio signal instead of analogue. Thanks to digital noise cancelling the communication gives excellent voice clarity, which has been tested from F3 to F1 cars, and from GT to Le Mans vehicles.

Easy to Use: this unit has been designed around professional motorsport, and is extremely easy to use and setup. Simple and very very effective.

Lightweight and Compact: the Verbacom is very lightweight in comparison to normal radio systems giving performance all round.

How does it work?
1. Headset User/Crew from pits make a call to the phone, which is located in the race car and connected with driver through bluetooth, before the car leaves pit/service area.
2. The car system/unit is programmed to automatically answer and the phone call is kept open keeping the car and Pit unit continually connected until switched off. The communication between units is always open.
3. The pit crew press the "push-to-talk-button" on the headset to transmit to the driver, whilst the driver can simply speak without pressing any button thanks to the digital noise cancellation that cancels all background noises and only transmit voice. So that means pits will always hear the driver's clear speaking voice whilst driver will hear pits only, when "Push-To-Talk" button is pushed on headsets. 
4. If for any reason GSM signal is lost and call is dropped? The pit phone automatically calls the car which answers it for the driver automatically.
It is as easy as that.

What is included in the "CAR to PIT headsets" kit:

BOX/PIT equipment:

• 1x professional noise cancelling headset with integrated one Bluetooth unit.
• 1x USB to USB-C charger cable for the headsets.

CAR equipment:

• 1x Bluetooth device with volume regulation (charger included) and professional plug for connection to the helmet's communication system (See HERE connector type).
  *TIP: If your helmet does not have built-in communication system, please call/write to us and we will help you understand which version would be the best for your race needs (see HERE most common versions of helmet communication kits).
• 1x support slide with quick release and double sided tape for fixing.
  *TIP: This part can be fixed to the helmet for quick driver swap during endurance race without needed to Plug-Unplug the cable to the helmet.
• 1x extension cable (2.3m) to connect the Bluetooth device and the helmet in case you do not want to attach bluetooth device to the helmet and instead want to fix it somewhere in the car within arm's reach while fully fastened with seatbelts.
  *TIP: In this setup when quick driver swap is needed, you just disconnect cable from helmet and then connect the cable with new driver's helmet.
